Clifton is an associate at our Kansas City Missouri office. Prior to joining McCarthy, Leonard, & Kaemmerer, Clifton came to the legal service profession as a second career. He originally studied Construction and Civil Engineering. For the first 12.5 years of his career, Clifton worked as a project controls specialist delivering large‑scale infrastructure projects across the country. While working full-time, Clifton attended law school part-time and earned his J.D. in 2025. Clifton is now leveraging his technical background and industry experience to support clients in navigating Construction Litigation matters.
