W. Chris Jarvis Partner

Profile

W. Chris Jarvis represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation and focuses his practice primarily in insurance defense litigation, premises and retail liability, products liability, transportation, construction litigation, and business litigation. Mr. Jarvis is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation and trial preparation, which enables him to counsel clients from the onset of cases through trial and arbitration/mediation. He is an effective litigator who works to bring innovative and favorable results to his clients.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Jarvis worked at a prominent insurance defense firm in downtown St. Louis, MO for several years. Prior to that, he worked at a boutique litigation firm in Clayton, MO, where he focused his practice on insurance defense, toxic torts, and class action defense. He has further experience clerking for a prominent plaintiff’s firm in Clayton, MO and serving as an intern at the Circuit Attorney’s Office in the City of St. Louis.
Mr. Jarvis is a graduate of the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he served as an Editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal, received an Academic Excellence Award for the top grade in Constitutional Law II, and served as a mentor in the mentorship program. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Jarvis graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame.
In his free time, Mr. Jarvis enjoys coaching lacrosse. He is currently an Assistant Varsity Coach at DeSmet Jesuit.
